‘Borderlands’ rumoured to be this week’s mystery reveal

Epic Games Store will today update their free games selection. Sid Meier’s Civilization VI will be replaced after gamers had a whole week to bag the free download, originally priced at R830.

At 17:00 South African Standard Time (SAST) today, the Epic Games Store freebie section will get a new major headliner. If the rumour mill is to be believed, this week’s free game could be Borderlands The Handsome Collection.

It’s a new era of mystery which began three weeks ago when Epic Games Store announced it’s mystery title reveal, Grand Theft Auto 5 (GTA 5), followed by Sid Meier’s Civilization VI. Let’s see what’s next!

Check back soon, we will update this page as soon as the new game is released.

Sid Meier’s Civilization VI

Sid Meier’s Civilization VI – which was developed by Firaxis Games and published by 2K and distributed by Take-Two back in October 2016 – is a turn-based strategy game that really needs no introduction.

Chapter VI offers new ways to interact with your world, expand your empire across the massive map, advance your culture and compete against history’s greatest leaders.

Interactions with other civilisations change over the course of the game, from primitive first interactions where conflict is a fact of life, to late game alliances and negotiations.

The aim is to build a Civilisation unlike any other, a civilisation that will stand the test of time. And it’s free! Well, only until 28 May. If you miss out, you’ll have to shell out R830 for it.
